Transatlantic Right focuses on issues relating to the rise of right-wing organisations in Europe, under the ideological direction of a group of bloggers and writers based in the United States.
Monitoring of their activities and their desire to spread their hateful ideology outside of the United States has become even more important in light of the recent massacre in Norway, perpetrated by Anders Breivik – an admirer of the anti-Muslim movement which has its ideological roots in the United States.
The articles on this site are written by Omar Shtewi. He is a graduate of the University of Sheffield (MSc Chinese Business and International Relations) and the University of Leeds (BA Arabic Studies). He has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
